They helped us find miss mocha and she has been the perfect addition to our family.very friendly caring staff so happy these amazing people take such care with all of the animals who come in. I hope that they can continue to bring families closer . ( yes to me animals are not pets they are family) when we first adopted her we were told her name was Mindy which is a real cute name read the previous owners info and it said her name was mocha. I read it out loud and she started chirping head held high as she was proud of the name. She has become a cage mate and sister to our squeaks and is actually helping the other piggies get along better together. Mocha truly is a blessing and glad we found her.
Very difficult to adopt when staff judge work life even though there's others in my home 24/7 while I travel for work. I'd love to have a pet that I can train, care for and spend time with. Not sure what more they needed to give me a chance to give a happy home to a paw friend
I brought in a stray kitty and Michael was amazing....
I was so impressed. I hope that a lot of people will give donations to help these precious animals. Even if everyone just gave what they can afford....
Just $5 or $10 from a lot of people really does make a true difference.
Please help!!
Sad, hurt and very upset when I found out my family wasn't able to be with their dog when she was put down at your facility today. She was put on a stretcher and taken inside to pass with strangers instead of her family. What's Humane about that?
Honestly it was my first adoption experience and probably the last. I’m an experienced dog owner but the lady in charged was literally telling me how MY dog was acting like she knew him better. I tried explaining I work with a trainer and tried giving other options to help both dogs. The dog meet and greets need tuning. Pulling a dog straight from being cooped up in a kennel all day, of course they will be high energy but they wouldn’t give the dog fresh air or a walk before meeting. The lady’s attitude was horrible like she knew everything they make it impossible to adopt a dog. Horrible first experience.
I had the best experience here. I had some stray kittens and momma about to deliver again and they took them in and asked me all sorts of questions. I've grown attached to them and did the best I could to care for them but they are in better hands now. They even told me I'll get a courtesy call for when they are adopted! Amazing staff all around and I know they are overwhelmed, and so I thank you all for the amazing work you are doing!
We got Amable here in February 2021. I really enjoyed the class tat they had each person take before taking the pet home. As a first time cat owner it was a very helpful class!
I love filling out an app for a cat to rescue and getting a call the next day that they gave it to the next person that filled out an app bc apparently waiting a day for a piece of paper from me is too long. I wish you cared about the animals and the people adopting them instead of trying to push the animal off on the first person that'll take it right now. Especially after I spent hours there playing with each cat to pick one. It's sad.
